Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in the Netherlands, Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in the Netherlands showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. This analysis is based on data provided by Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting from about 5.1K at the beginning of October and reaching approximately 5.6K by the end of December. The app's weekly active users fluctuated, starting at around 101K and peaking at 127K during the last week of December.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a steady weekly download rate, beginning at 4.3K and ending the quarter at 4.6K. Active user numbers showed some volatility, beginning at around 61K, dipping in the middle of the quarter, and climbing back to 61K by December's end.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery had a relatively stable download pattern with a slight peak in mid-December at 1.9K. Active users increased from approximately 3.8K to 4.8K, showing a steady growth throughout the quarter.

Grab - Taxi & Food Delivery maintained a consistent download rate around 1.3K to 1.5K weekly. Active users showed a positive trend, starting at 72K and reaching 80K by the end of December.

Finally, inDrive. Rides with fair fares experienced a decline in downloads from 1.4K to about 1K towards the end of the quarter. Active users also decreased slightly, from approximately 6.9K to 6.3K.
